Jasmine Marino '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Jasmine Marino although I do prefer to go be Jazzy or Jaz. I can’t imagine how many athletes you are being exposed to and happy I am one of them.

I have been playing volleyball since fifth grade and started playing in a local club in sixth grade. Not only have I played volleyball but I also have experience playing fast pitch softball, basketball, soccer,  and tennis as well as currently coaching a 14u club team along with playing 18u club. My notable accomplishments would definitely include being chosen as second team all conference my junior and senior volleyball seasons as well as being on varsity all four years of highschool and finishing off my highschool volleyball career as the team captain.  In volleyball I have experience playing outside all around, middle all around, right side hitter and setter in both a 6-2 and 5-1. My junior season has been my most successful season when I started as the all around middle being undefeated in our conference, taking first at divisionals, and just falling short taking second at state. Through this I have been giving the role as being a team leader and learning to take care of my body and be an encouraging teammate. 

It has always been my dream to continue my volleyball career in college ever since I just began playing in the fifth grade. I hope to continue playing through college and coach highschool volleyball after. In college I would love to major in Psychology/Criminology or Education.
