Solomon Mason '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Solomon Mason I will be a sophomore in the Fall of 2024. I attend Palo High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Modesto Junior College I have played PG and the SG position my whole life. I love basketball and have been playing it since I was in the 2nd grade. Ironically, basketball was introduced to me as a sport at the age of 7 by an AAU coach who was teaching at a summer program I was attending. He contacted my parents and said," Your son has natural basketball skills, you should put him on an AAU team". The rest is history as basketball has been my life over the last 12 years. I contribute most of my basketball attributes to my leadership skills. I am a very humble mild-mannered young man. I have never been in trouble in school my grades have always been good, and I generally love to help people be better. I am 5'9 I range in weight from 150. I have a proven record for managing the court and assessing where the ball is and where the ball needs to go. I am a pretty good shooter when I'm "HOT" and my defense skills are likened to "Fort Knox".....you going to have to work really hard to get past me. I am a cooperative and attentive team player who has the drive to be my best and to see my team at its best.

Basketball is my life passion. I have had tremendous growth over the years as a Basketball player. I have developed the ability to manage stress, cope with failures, and come up with innovative ideas and solutions to tackle obstacles; however, the best thing Basketball has done for me is helped me to build Character, Strength, and Patience while still possessing a positive mindset.
