Personal Statement

Update: Effective 6/26/2023 - My Recruitment is OFFICIALLY CLOSED. I signed my NCAA Division 1 Athletics Full Scholarship Award to play D1 Men's Basketball at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. I am a D1 JUCO Transfer from Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY who earned my Associate's Degree on full athletic scholarship. I graduated as a Scholar-Athlete who was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic Team with basketball honors at the team, region, district, and national levels as well as competing in the NJCAA D1 Men's Basketball National Championship tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

My goal is to find a college or university that fosters my thirst for knowledge & learning while challenging me to become a smarter, better, and wiser person through my experiences as a collegiate student-athlete working toward completing my Bachelor’s degree compared to when I arrived on campus as a hopeful and eager Freshman. My objective is to develop my basketball skill and talent as a member of a college basketball program where I can contribute and have a positive impact on my teammates, coaches, and campus community. I love the game of basketball which has kept me grounded, focused and driven, teaching me about hard work, commitment, and goal setting. If given the opportunity as a recruited athlete, I will push myself to improve my game as I do daily, soak in and absorb all the guidance and instruction from my coaches to enhance my basketball IQ, and make adjustments as necessary because I am coachable, I am teachable, I am humble, but most of all I am willing to do what it takes to always get better individually and as a team unit.

The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
