I'm looking forward to having a great college experience and keeping my grades up at the same time. I want to be the first in my family to go straight to college after high school and enjoy my time there too. My long term goal is to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science, then go on to complete a Masters in either Food Science or Baking and Pastry. Attending culinary school has allowed me to discover my love for cooking. However, I prefer to build upon my skills to develop new ways to create, improve, and reinvent different food products, rather than be in the kitchen. Working in a structure that is hands-on with high expectations where I can use my imagination, is exactly why I love the Food Science field. After college I plan to secure a job close to home, which will allow me to provide for the wife and children I desire to have five years after graduation.
