Simon Connors '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, My name is Simon Connors. I am a 3 sport varsity athlete with a strong intention to play sports at the college level. I also take my academics very seriously. I intend to educate myself and set my self up for a successful career in college as well as playing sports. My life has always revolved around sports and I want to continue playing sports after high school. I believe a strong work ethic divides good athletes from elite athletes and a strong work ethic is something I have. Other than academics and sleep I dedicate all my time to becoming the best Athlete I can be. My mind and my body will not stop until I have reached my goal. Whether it be in the weight room or on the court or on the track. I will be pushing myself to be the athlete I strive to be. To me personally, there is no better feeling than competing. Sports and competing have really taught me so much as an athlete and as a person. The work that goes into winning is incredible and so rewarding. But losing is important also. Learning to lose and to  respect others is important and imperative to begin winning again. I use failure and loss as motivation to work harder than ever before to be in those winning positions. Honestly, I am not ready to be done with sports and I will do everything in my power to play in the collegiate level.
