As a means of my collegiate goals and aspirations I strive to make the hardest effort/ contributions towards helping my team win in any way possible. Whether it’s contributing to the defensive aspect of the team by being a pest while guarding the best player on the team, hustling for loose ball opportunities and of course contributing on offense by not only scoring, but being vocal, setting screens, calling out backdoors, picking up a man, and simply just pushing myself and my teammates to be better. What makes me different from other recruits is that I’m versatile, in my film you see I can play the corner, wing, and the box down low. I take pride in my 3 point shot and my defensive shot blocking ability. I’m able to read when my opponent is setting up for a back door, I’m able to push the ball in transition and ultimately make the right pass enable for my team mate to score. My iq in terms of handling the ball is sharp. I’m extremely humble and composed and know how to play my role. As for my character I lead by example, I always strive to pick my brothers up and never deter them from the goal at hand, I always display good sportsmanship and maintain focus on the court. Furthermore, transitioning into my academics my goal is not to pass every class but retain information and ultimately excel in the course. I make the extra effort by attending in house tutoring and am never afraid to advocate for myself if I don’t understand something.
