Personal Statement
As a Freshman in high school, I jumped a personal best of 6ft 1 inch, setting my school record and taking 1st place at the Super 8 Track Meet, where I had the highest jump out of the top 8 jumpers in 3 counties. I also won the Allegeny County Championship. I came into Class D sectionals as the number 1 seed, however I took third, having one of my lower jumps of the season. I also had the highest high jump out of any Freshman in all of Section 5 Track and Field. Getting a college scholarship for Track or Basketball is one of my biggest goals in life, I work very hard to achieve this dream, and hopefully college coaches will eventually notice that.
