To whom it may concern,
Thank you all for taking the time out to read my website. As a student-athlete at Monroe Woodbury, I take this term very seriously. I understand that in order to be an athlete you must be a student first. I am currently in my junior year of high school and I focus heavily on my academics. I am a student that has to work hard for my grades and study diligently because school doesn't come as easy. I dedicate many hours to studying the material that I am learning to earn the highest grade I possibly can.
I understand that being a student-athlete automatically makes me a role model with my peers. Keeping this in mind, I show all school staff and classmates proper respect at all times. I know that I represent something bigger than just myself, but my teammates and coaches. I hope that acting this way day in and day out, my teammates will follow along.
I am different from other recruits because I have an end goal in mind. I want to be the best version of myself in the classroom, at home, and on the court. I do my best to support my teammates in whatever is needed. I like to be a "go to" kind of person. I like when people rely on me and I enjoy seeing others succeed. I plan to take these skills with me to college and into my career.
Thank you for reading my profile. Please feel free to reach out at anytime if you have any questions.
Thank you,
William Fuchs
