Jake Galley '22 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball for as long as I can remember.  From my driveway to the court, I have always known that playing basketball would be an integral part of my college experience.  I come from a very athletic family.  My father played Division 1 football and my sister is a dual sport athlete, playing Division 2 soccer and track.   Now, I hope to follow their footsteps and not only play basketball, but also pursue a degree in Health and Physical Education. 

In college, I plan to study Health and Physical Education so I can share my passion for a healthy, athletic lifestyle with future generations.  I aspire to teach others what athletics has taught me:  I never lose; either I win or I learn from the experience.   I've developed a passion for competition.  I am determined to pursue an athletic career in college, both on the court and in the classroom.  Eventually, I would like to teach, as well as coach, the next generation of athletes.
