Growing up in a christian background I was raised to respect god and if I wanted to do a good job at that I would have respect my parents, my elders, and all authority over me. Ever since my dad put a basketball in my hands I always loved the game of basketball. I was introduced to this sport at the age of five, and been playing and working on my craft ever since. I learned that the game of basketball can easily be correlated to a lot of vaulable life lessons. This sport taught that hard work and dedication is the key to being successful in anything you do. Basketball being a team sport I learned to use my teammates to the best of their ability to get the best results out of the game. Being humble in this sport definetly will bring you a long away. My academic goals for high school is 80s and up in all my core classes at the mininmum. If I can get a hundred in a class then that's the goal, but if I fall short shooting for the stars hopefully I land on the moon. For college I just want to be able to perform at the NCAA requirement to be able to play basketball. I have overcame a lot of obstacles in my life that helped me be who I am today so I could say Im thankful for the hard and challenging times that I faced so far. As far as unique skills I play the drums at my church and I have a little experience with code, html.css, computer science, linux, and operating systems.
My main goal is to be outstanding in my education and basketball performance where ever I play at, not to leave out I would also like a scholarship half or full. Attending a college for a year is expensive on its own, so if the oppertunity came half or full ride I would take it and try to make the best out of it and embrace it knowing not to many people get scholarships or that the scholarship ratio is low. What separates me from a lot of the other candiates is that im very coachable and over the years I built a great work ethic. I know my grades are not the best but thats something im willing to work on to become a better candidate for this recruitment process.
