2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Connor Bastedo, and I am a 6’3” Wing entering my junior year in Tully, NY. I have 96 average and plan on majoring in Business Management in college. I am a hard worker and team player. I play club ball and school ball. My freshman year I made varsity as a key defender coming off the bench as the 6th or 7th man. I had a great freshmen year helping my team get to a 22-2 record and progressing to the sectional semifinals. As a sophomore I was a starter in all 22 games, helping my team get to a 18-4 record and progressing to the sectional quarter finals. As a junior I am among the top returning Section III boys basketball leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks. My game has continued to progress becoming a high-level defender and developing into a main scorer for my team. My goal is to continue to grow as student athlete and play basketball at the collegiate level.
