I have always dreamed of playing at a Division 1 College. My dream was almost taken away from me in November of 2016 when I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. At the time, I was in 9th grade and the starting point guard on Varsity for Webster Thomas. Basketball was taken away from me for almost 8 months. After surgery and physical therapy, I was able to over come TOS and continue on with my goal of playing Division 1 basketball. I learned to never take anything for granted and through hard work I can overcome any obstacle. In this past off season, I had a shooting routine where my parents rebound and chart my three point attempts. I attempted 28,129 threes. I made 20,368 of them. These attempts include shooting off the dribble, off of screens and NBA range threes. I believe I have the work ethic and determination to successfully play and contribute to any team that wishes to have me. I have been around the game of basketball my whole life and have developed a high basketball IQ. I am a team player and a team Captain who leads by example. I am willing to take on any role that is necessary for my team to win. Academically, I have maintained a 93.4% GPA, with the understanding of the importance in maintaining a high academic standard. I am taking multiple AP courses and was elected to the National Honor Society in October 2018.
