Micah Slaughter '24 Recruiting Profile

Being able to lead by example is one of the most important intangibles in basketball and in life. This quality is one I feel makes me stand out from the crowd on the court. Through leadership I strive to always give 100%, encourage teammates, and keep a positive mindset even through adversity. I've always had a love for the game and this has driven me to always work hard and strive to be the best that I can be. While I have been successful on the court, I have always made my education a priority by taking challenging courses and maintaining a 3.96 gpa. I realize that being a student athlete begins with being a student. My goals as a student athlete are to become a physical therapist assistant while continuing to play the game I love at an elite level. I know that being a student athlete at the collegiate level will be extremely challenging, but it has always been my dream, and I am willing to work to achieve it.
