My Personal Statement
Hello my name is Chris Mitchell and I am 16 years old. I am 5 ́10 and my weight is 145 lbs. I‘ve been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. I am currently an 9th grader and the positions that I play is point guard and shooting guard. During the off season I have a private trainer, his name is Coach Shawn Robinson. I would love to attend a College or University in the state of North Carolina due to the fact that my family is from there. I also know that I am willing to play ball in any state that offers me a scholarship. My goal is to receive a scholarship at a Division I institution but I would be open to receiving a Division II scholarship as well. My ultimate goal is to continue learning the game and to stay a student of the game. Basketball is not the only important factor when it comes to me choosing an institution. The other factor is that the school of my choice will offer my major which will be Sports Medicine or Athletic Training.
I feel I would be a strong asset towards anyones team due to the fact that I am a very hard worker in everything that I put my mind to, either on the court or in the classroom. My goal is to practice and play as hard as I can, and believe in giving the team, my coaches, and my teachers my very best at all times. I will give 150% of myself to your team everytime I step onto the court. All I ask is that you believe in me and my abilities to be a part of your team.
Thanks,
Chris
