Zhangir Dyussenov '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zhangir Dyussenov, I'm from Kazakhstan and currently attending Combine Academy, in NC.

My goal is to play next level basketball after High school, and make my parents and my country proud. My family and my country are the most important thing for me, they have influenced me the most to become who I am and where I am at right now. My dad made a big influence on me, because watching him play as a kid, I started loving the game of basketball.

I think the most important thing I learned about myself playing basketball, that I'm really emotional and I'm ready to leave everything on the floor everytime I step in bettwen the lines. Basketball taught me to never give up and always have fun playing the game. My academic goals for college is to get a sports management bachelor's degree and improve my communication skills. I think the most important and unique characteristics that I have is being a leader, holding my teammates accountable and desire to win everywhere on and off the court.
