I am a responsible and ambitious student athlete with excellent work ethic and leadership skills. I am excited to attend college and continue my academics with a focus on Business & Business Management. I have a strong desire to continue my basketball career at the collegiate level and work incredibly hard at advancing my game in various ways.
As a player, I have a natural tendency to lead both through my words and actions. I have been consistently asked to captain teams in the sports I competed. 2020 / 2021 sets up to be an amazing year. We have 5 DI players and the team will be ranked Nationally. I'm honored to be a TEAM CAPTAIN and plan to help lead us to the State Championship!
My 2020 Varsity season was one of the best experiences of my life. With 5 division one commits on our roster, including 5 new players, I worked my way to the eventual starting lineup leading the team in shooting (43% from 3) and being recognized by my teammates as the highest character player on the team.
In 2019, I was honored to be on the Varsity team as a sophomore and we won the State Championship and finished in the top 25 teams nationally.
The practices at Carmel Christian are very intense. I have to prove I can protect the ball and make the right decisions under pressure. My coaches preach defense and I take pride in my ability to pressure the ball all 94 feet! My best skill is my shooting (range and accuracy) and this environment proved that my shooting could differentiate me against the best. This experience made me a better player and taught me what it will take to compete at the college level.

- Activities1) Central Church Youth Leadership Team (2019 - present) - Assist with the creation of sermons, praying over the youth congregation and supporting the Head Youth Pastor with all his responsibilities. 2) Self-employed Youth Basketball Instructor (2019) - Instruct kids on basketball fundamentals and skills as well as mentor them to enhance the academic and athletic atmosphere at Carmel Christian, 3) Volunteer at Take on Sports Charlotte NC (2017 - Present) - A local organization offering athletic opportunities for special needs youth and adults. I supported and guided them during basketball and baseball games ensuring they were safe and having fun, 4) Beds for Kids Charlotte NC (2017 - Present) - A local non-for-profit focusing on providing beds and furniture to children in need. I helped move and deliver all sorts of furniture to less fortunate people around the city of Charlotte, 5) Charlotte Rescue Mission Charlotte NC (2017 - Present) - A Christian-based drug rehab center where we were asked to prepare and serve meals to the residents while also taking time to play basketball talk and worship with them, 6) Carolina Center for Women and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte Charlotte NC (2017 - Present) - Local shelters for men and women in need. My family joined a group of 10+ families to visit these local shelters and deliver winter apparel while serving them coffee and donuts talking with them and playing with the children, 7) Bible Study Group, Charlotte, NC (2019) - Organized a small group of 6-8 Carmel Christian classmates to meet weekly on Friday mornings before school and discuss the Bible our faith and dive deeper into God's word
