Daniel Nelson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Nelson, I am a 6'5 small forward from Charlotte, North Carolina and I attend Covenant Day School. I am a very hard worker who always tries to be in the gym whether it's early mornings before school or late nights getting shots up and working on my game. I don't just put an emphasis on the offensive side of the ball but put just as much or more energy playing defense as I believe defense is what wins championships. I make sure to be a leader on and off the court, making sure to keep my teammates accountable both in the classroom and on the court. My strengths are shooting and playing defense along with always hustling on the court such as getting as many rebounds as possible or diving on a loose ball.
