I am a 6'4 versatile athlete who loves basketball from Murphy, North Carolina. I have started on the Murphy JV basketball team for the past two years and averaged 18 points a game with multiple assists, blocks, and rebounds. My primary position is center but I also play wing. I am a rising junior with a 3.8 GPA and I look forward to starting varsity next season. I love basketball because it is fun it is a never-ending challenge and team sport and I am a team player.
In order to pursue my dream of playing college basketball, I will remain dedicated to the sport and work very hard to accomplish this goal. What I can contribute to a team is leadership, hard work, and dependability. One of my best skills is remaining in control and leading my team under pressure.
When thinking of schools I would like to attend, I am very open to going anywhere that is a good fit for me. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play basketball I will be excited. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process. My two choices for a major as of right now are either Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. However, my major may change over the course of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and be an example to the team that follows me. I am intrigued and welcome new challenges that push me to improve my skill with the sport.
