Samuel Vasconi '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball as long as I can remember. Basketball isn't my only passion in sports but it is definitely my #1 favorite and one I have invested a lot of time and energy in! I am determined to not make this journey end at my final year of high school. I want to carry my love for this incredible sport throughout my college years. I am a tough and gritty defender who plays both on ball and off ball defense. I have great ball handling skills which leads to tremendous court vision. I can finish at the rim and at the same time contributing from outside the arc. All this combined with a great basketball IQ makes me a incredible hoops package!

I want to be a great example for my teammates by being dependable and by simply doing the right thing. I feel that my two best attributes are I am highly coachable and am fully invested in whatever I do.

Off the court I study very hard and keep a very high GPA. I volunteer as well in Boys Team Charity to help those in need.

I want to attend a college where I can have an opportunity to succeed both on and off the court. I am open to all options and want to find the right college for me and match it with the highest competition possible. I hope to make my friends, coaches and family proud by leading by example!
