My name is Jake Anton. I am a 6’3" guard in the class of 2025. Two seasons ago I was a starting member of a basketball team that had 6 seniors, won the league for the first time since 1991 and had back-to-back sectional titles. I am also a 3 year starter at QB and safety on our football team, which won the first playoff game in school history and I am a 3 year varsity starter on the school baseball team. Last year I finished 10th in the state in the triple jump during the indoor track season. I love to compete and love the the game of basketball. I’m a tall, long guard that has great court vision, the ability to create shots for myself and my teammates, and can knock down a three pointer from deep range. I am a kid who keeps a positive attitude and pushes my teammates. Being a part of an athletic program that has been at the bottom of our league for a while really has pushed me to work hard and never give up. In the classroom throughout my sophomore year I have maintained a 4.1 GPA and I am taking college credit plus courses, earning college and high school credit. My goal for the future is to continue to play basketball at a high tempo college program while continuing to push myself in sports and academics. I plan on achieving this goal one day and I hope you can help me get there.
