Sydney McWhorter '22 Recruiting Profile

In the aspects of both athletics and academics I consider myself to be very dedicated, hardworking and passionate. With anything I do in life, I continuously strive to give more than 100%. Throughout my years I have taken schooling and volleyball seriously as they are something that I want to succeed in. I always look for ways to become a better player, whether that is watching film or receiving additional instruction from other coaches. I see myself as being a highly supportive teammate both on and off the court and there for a teammate whenever they need it. I tend to set my goals high, which results in me pushing myself to the best I can be each day. In college I plan on going into the field of sports medicine. I enjoy the aspects of being an athletic trainer, physical trainer, and overall learning more about the movements of the body. I actively participated in Key Club and was elected the treasurer for the 2020-21 school year. I am a member of Student Council and have considered joining FBLA. Over the years I have had the privilege to work with many of the young girls in our youth program and have had the opportunity to watch them grow in skills and learn to love the sport of volleyball.
