As a junior, winning OFSAA was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete when I left my hometown high school at the end of my junior year to continue my basketball career 2 hours away from home, with Lincoln Prep. This experience helped me grow as a player by being in the best league in Canada playing against the best competition. It also helped me mature as a person living away from home and being responsible. The most challenging moment in my life has been tearing my ACL in my senior year. No one ever said coming back would be easy. So, I learned how to read the game from a different perspective and be a better teammate.
I was fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing program. Over the 2 years of being with Lincoln Prep, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I do not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership to make an immediate impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to be a leader as well as a competitor on your team!
