Joshua Poole '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Joshua Poole, and I'm from the Toronto, Ontario, Scarborough area, and I have goals to make it to the next level. My passion is always to make it to the next level, such as D1 basketball or the NBA. I have a unique personality, and I have a stutter, so it's hard for me to communicate in person, but I can still do what coaches and scouts want me to do. My goals are to have good grades so I am eligible to be on a sports team in college, such as basketball. My strengths are going to the rim and trying various moves to be unpredictable at the rim. I am very good at shooting and shooting from deep. I have much respect for any coach who coaches me. Even if I make the wrong mistake, I learn from my mistakes and do better so I won't do it again. I communicate on defense and set plays for my teammates, and I'm a pest on defense. 

I believe I am a good candidate for your team because I am a leader and have a great work ethic and so much passion for the sport. I can proceed to be excellent even under pressure and try not to get overwhelmed when I play against bigger crowds.

Academic goals, My goals are always to do well in my classes and attend every single class. I do my homework and hand in assignments on time, and I take my work very seriously. I am compelled to perform well in all of my classes; I have easily demonstrated how I am an excellent student by my teachers.
