Ever since I was in 2nd grade, basketball has been my passion. Obviously my passion has grown exponentially since 2nd grade, and I believe that it has affected my life in so many areas outside of the stuff on the court. Ever since those early days, I've known that I am not the most physically dominant person, but in the other areas- skills, leadership, tenacity, etc.- I have aimed my best to succeed at, and now my physique is catching up and it is all starting to become something I didn't even think of as possible. My experiences as being sort of an underdog type of person has fueled me to become the best I can possibly be here at the high school level, and eventually college level and whatever comes after that.
I am very lucky to be the focus of all my coaches up-to-date along with my great mentors that I are active in my life to become who I am, someone who is extremely dependable, inspiring to those around me, and a very good teammate, all with a very high level work ethic. What I am looking for is a college that fits for me athletically and academically, that will set me up for success for the rest of my life. I do believe that I not only have the ability and talent for the college level, but also exceptionally mentally strong enough for it, with great leadership, desire, and accountability characteristics. Just to illustrate how an average week for me goes, it is how follows: Speed/Strength/Jump program 4 days a week, to skills training 6 days a week with EliteGuardTraining.com, to hours of studying film, recovery methods, and near-perfect nutrition. I consider myself a true student to the game of basketball.
