Elijah Shepard '26 Recruiting Profile

  As a Highschool junior with a passion for basketball and a drive for academic excellence. I am very excited to continue my journey at the college level. I am a very balanced student achieving all A's and B's while beginning on Beta club with a GPA of 3.8. I have been playing sports since I was a kid and have been on the varsity teams since my eighth grade year. I am very good when it comes to time management with my education and sports. I have been committed to basketball and will out work anyone on and off the court.

 The reason I think I would be a good fit for you is:

     I am willing to do whatever it takes for my team to win and come out on top.

I am not scared of work and will push myself harder than anyone there.

I have always loved to work out and learn from the best. 

I believe I could play any position you ask of me, because I have the heart and drive for  the game. 

        The main reason I wanted to stick with this sport was because of my very first coach, Coach Sam Baker, he showed me that anything is possible. He took a chance with me, and I can personally say without a doubt the moment he put me in, he never wanted to take me out. I think any college that gets me will be lucky, as I will be lucky to be there, and hopefully will see the same thing my coach saw.
