Lawson Davis '21 Recruiting Profile

My basketball journey started just recently. I was sought after by my high school coaches for my height my sophomore year and was told to try out for the team. I made the JV team and within weeks became a starter for my team and by the end of the summer I began competing for a starting spot on my varsity team. I've come a long way and have an have a longer way to go to become the player I wish to be. I've grown up in a family with three biological siblings and six step siblings meaning I come from a place where communicating with others and being selfless is essential. I believe the way I was raised and the environment I have been brought up  in will better me for my collegiate future and makes me a better player. I am extremely interested and excited by the idea of playing at the next level and receiving a good education along with it.
