Ryan Gongora '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm a Follower of Christ and truly love the game of basketball. I enjoy every aspect of the game from putting in work developing and mastering my skillset, to understanding strategy and breaking down film, along with being the best teammate and player possible. I'm originally from Chicago, IL and have moved around quite a bite. I've lived in Ohio, Washington,Idaho and now reside in South Carolina. Moving has been tough at times but my family and basketball has always kept my spirits up. I've learned to adapt and when needed to lead by example. I'm not just a basketball player though, I'm driven and focused in academics. My parents have educated me to not only rely on sports as an outlet but expanding my vision in the classroom and one day in the workplace.
