Malone Kinard-Huisinger '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in the 5th grade and quickly grew a passion for the game.  I work everyday to turn my dream of playing at the collegiate level into my reality.  Playing basketball in college is an incredible opportunity that would help me grow and create more discipline and open doors to a positive and fulfilling future.  I am a hardworking leader on and off of the court and I love to learn something new everyday.  When I am not at practice, I am working relentlessly to improve and master my game physically and mentally.   I am a great vocal leader on and off the court and make my presence felt on the court by communicating and creating mayhem for the other team.  I lead by example, and encourage and motivate my teammates.  I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working teammate and recruit on and off the court.  

I work hard off the court studying and maintaining a high GPA.  I am an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and give them my time for local community volunteer efforts.  I hope to participate in the leadership program in the near future.  I am also a member of the youth ministry at St. Gregory the Great, and enjoy our Sunday evenings together growing in my faith.  

I would like to attend a college that challenges me in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.  I am looking for the right match where I can balance my study life with my basketball life and grow into a solid successful adult.
