I've wanted to play college basketball my whole life.
My freshman year, I played travel ball with a Nike Elite sponsored team out of Memphis, TN. We won AAU Nationals and EYBL Nike Peach Jam Invitational. That same year we went to state with my high school team. Those experiences were a great way to start my high school career.
I've always tried to be an unselfish team player. Because of my height, athleticism and ball handling skills, I have very good court vision and can get passes inside, take outside jump shots or drive with ease. On defense, because of my quickness and strength, I can guard inside or outside players. I can and do often play all 5 positions on the court. I've been fortunate to win at least 5 games with last second shots so pressure doesn't bother me. In fact, it motivates me to be the best version of myself.
I work hard to do my best in everything. I train hard in the gym and weight room. I make good grades. I approach things including basketball with a business approach. I've been taught to treat others as I want to be treated. I approach life with the attitude ... I don't want any regrets.
I want to bring my attitude, work ethic and skills to a high quality college.
