Brendan Mattis '22 Recruiting Profile

I have a passion for the game of basketball.   I am a team player and have always been associated with winning programs.  My teammates trust me to make the unselfish play.  I take pride in my plus/minus differential, high shooting percentage, and high assist to turnover ratio.  My teams have an advantage because I play extremely aggressive on-ball defense and force many turnovers.  I am  one of the top 3-point shooters in the conference, which forces teams to extend their defenses.   Opposing coaches refer to me as "the shooter".   I’m a very capable point guard with above average quickness and high basketball IQ.  Point guard was my primary position for many of my travel basketball seasons.   I am very excited to play competitively at the collegiate level.
