Faith Heskett '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Faith Heskett and I would like to thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.

I have been playing volleyball since 2014. I have played consecutively for my schools from grade 6 through 12 and played on premier club/travel teams in the off season.  I am primarily a Defense Specialist and libero but have played all positions on various travel/club teams. Last month, when my Senior season was cut short due to Covid-19, I realized I did not want my volleyball career to end! I am extremely interested in playing at the collegiate level.

I was honored to be chosen as representative for the High School All District/IMAC  team my Senior season.  I strive to be a strong leader on my teams and always took opportunities to motivate and mentor others.  I have a passion for competition and feel I perform at my best when under pressure.  I am a strong team player and have always had good relationships with my coaches.  Along with athletics, I take my academic studies seriously. I have taken several honors courses throughout high school and am currently dual enrolled as a Senior in high school and college at Walters State Community College with a 3.18 GPA. I plan to pursue an undergraduate degree that will provide a foundation for my future plans of attending graduate school to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
