Over the past few months, while practicing basketball and researching college options for my future, I have reflected on what makes an admirable and good player. Personally I always strive to be a leader, the person that the team can count on to be a role model in both personal life and life as an athlete. In college, I want to be a part of a basketball team that becomes a second family for all of the players and coaching/support staff. I have a love for basketball that can never be broken, which fuels my determination to constantly improve my game and my desire to motivate my teammates to support each other both on and off the court. When there is something that needs to be done for the coaches or for the team, I am always the first to do it. My coaches and teammates know they can depend on me. My work ethic is also evident in my academics; basketball is one of the main reasons I push myself to learn in and out of school. These qualities set me apart from other basketball recruits.
