My aspirations as a college athlete are to find the perfect college for me, where I can excel in both my basketball career and academic career. My leadership in everything I do, no matter how big or small, is what makes me so special. Keeping my grades high is my biggest priority, as well as making sure my teammates are on top of their grades at all times. One more thing I pride myself on is always keeping my head high, even after a big loss, or when I make a mistake. Leadership has been a huge part of my high school career so far. As I started my freshman year, I had to take on the role of being the team captain on our varsity team. This was very nerve racking for me, but I took on the challenge with my head high. It was sometimes scary to be the guy yelling at, inspiring, and pushing the upper class-men to be the best they could be. As well as being a leader on the court, I have also started on the varsity football team for 4 years , where I earned district accolades both my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I started on the varsity baseball team at short stop, as well as, competing in high jump, pole vault, 110M hurdles, 300m hurdles and mile relay on the varsity track team, where I qualified for the regional track meet.
