Jayden Lucas '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, to all college coaches my name is Jayden Lucas I am 6 foot 2 and a student athlete who's interest in college basketball are very strong and my aspirations and goals are to be the best student and athlete I possibly can I am doing very well in all of my classes and I bring the energy to any court I step on my offense does need work and so does my strength so I put in work to reach those goals everyday in the gym and on the court getting up lots of shots, practicing my handles and working out to keep my body well conditioned during the pandemic. I meditate and pray a lot to keep a steady head while this pandemic is going on I feel I will be a great fit at any college because of my character I am the most mellow and chill guy you will ever meet and the most genuine but when it's time to get to business there's no friends on the court but that's a switch that I have learned to flip on and off with certain people because some athletes who I have played with over the years take things on the court more personal than some others would and I am a student of the game for sure I love to learn and add new things to my game that will help me get better and get me to the next level so I can make my family very proud that everything that they've invested in me and all of the hard work and late nights I've been grinding non stop paid off and that I can take care of them not the same but even better than they took care if me because without them and the Lord making things move behind the scenes for me I'm sure I would not be here with this opportunity so I will make the most of it so even if I don't make it I know I gave it my all and I will always give it my all and that's why your program deserves a kid like me because I am fearless, natural leader, have the biggest heart and won't back down from any challenge that's just my competitive nature to be the best and give it my all so this a little introduction to me thank you.
