Jack Slaughter '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college basketball at a university with a basketball culture which is also a high academic school with a strong life science program.

At this time, I would like to pursue a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or Pre-Med. What sets me apart from most people is my intellect and test scores, as well my work ethic - which applies to both school and athletics.  

I believe that playing for a program that truly believes in my educational goals will be the best fit for me. I will most likely not play professionally beyond college but I am professional and serious in my efforts at all times. With that being said, I am not a one trick pony. I love hanging out with my friends and family. I love comic books, movies, and some literature. Ultimately, I want to use basketball to help secure my college education. I understand that I have been given a genetic gift of height. However, the heart and hard work that I exhibit at all times is what really sets me apart. Thank you.
