Hello various college coaches and my name is Tyler Franks. So I play point-guard with seven main attributes of communication, confidence, unselfishness, IQ, skillfulness, fundamentals, and all action with no bragging. During the summer I play basketball everyday from either 10 am-4 pm or 5 pm-9 pm. Also I love to stretch, do shooting and dribbling drills, along with playing pick up games only with grown men or guys like 18 plus. I do that because I have a motto,"G.B.E,Get Better Everyday" and I'll rather choose to be challenge by people whom are more experienced than me, because in order to be a great leader you have to first be a great follower. Ever since I first seen a basketball game on TV with my ongoing favorite player Kobe Bean Bryant, I've always had the passion for the game of basketball like the way the ball sounds when I bounce it, the squeaky sound of basketball shoes, the sound of "swish" when the ball goes in the net, the sweat, the communication, the chemistry, and to be real. I am going to be in the NBA or overseas but I'm not in it for the money most likely , I'm in it so that I can achieve my goal but still have perseverance and God with me in order to be the best basketball player I can be for my teammates, coaches, fans, family, and myself. In conclusion, I truly appreciate the coaches and scouts who had the time to read this personal statement and to all the short players in the world, HEART OVER HEIGHT. God bless you all and may God keep you.
