Tanner Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tanner Smith.  I’m a senior guard for the Austin Warriors in Austin Texas. I’ve been playing on the varsity four-years and a starter for three of the years.  I’m currently averaging 23 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists per game. I believe my work ethic, engine, and spark will be a great addition to the right program. I’m also looking to get a good education. My current GPA is 3.2 and I expect it to go up once the next calculations are released. I love the game of basketball and all the little things, “the difference makers”, that accrue over the course of a game that ultimately make that game successful (offensive execution, tough defense, hustle, great passing / ball distribution, heart).  I'm first and foremost a team player, I love to deliver assists.  I love to score as well just like everyone else, but delivering a great pass for an assist is an art form and I love it.  Most of all I love to win, however that recipe comes together on a given night, the win is the goal.   My favorite players: Stockton, Magic, Bird, CP3, Nash, Kidd, Skiles.  I look forward to discussing opportunities, thank you for taking time out to read this.
