Devonte McDonald '22 Recruiting Profile

At a young age, I developed a love and passion for basketball. At the age of 6, I was far from being the best on the team and it continued that way until I got in 7th grade, and to this day. Being something out of my control, I continued to work my hardest and treat each day as a new chance to improve myself mentally and physically on and off the court. And as my high school basketball career is slowly coming to the end, all I can think about is how I can bring my skills and abilities to the next level. I strive for playing time and I am determined to get better, bigger, stronger, faster, and smarter every day.

I am very coachable and willing to learn every little detail there is to know as I transition from a young man to an adult. One of my biggest aspirations is playing basketball at the next level, getting a free education, getting my degree, and leaving the court knowing I gave my best effort.
