I didn’t grow up playing the game of basketball.
I had played baseball until I discovered basketball in 2012, and that’s where my passion for the game grew. After my first season ended that year, I told myself I am going to do everything I can to play basketball on a collegiate level. Throughout the years, I’ve had to work extremely hard to catch up to the competition. I’ve worked on my craft, met the competition, and then passed it. I’ve become comfortable with making myself uncomfortable, leaving everything out on the court. I compete with tenacity, high energy, and intensity which leads me to success. I will continue to put 110% into every part of the game through high school and college.
Off the court my work ethic will still be employed, as part of being a student athlete. Over the years, I have learned to manage my time and surroundings to have excellent academic success. You can count on me to not only push myself and my teammates on the court, but also to do everything in my power to be an exceptional student at your school.
