Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Cade Whitson and I'm currently a senior at Llano High School in Llano, Texas. I am a 3rd year returning varsity starter in our program playing small forward and shooting guard. In my future I plan do work in business administration, however I‘m prepared for whatever change God will allow. My biggest strength is definitely my 3 point shooting ability and mid-range pull up jumpers, however slashing and driving to the basket is always an option as well. This high school season I shot just shy of 60% from the field and capitalizing in the short corners and baselines shooting almost 73%. I typically do my best in a man offense as it gives me opportunity to create either shots, drives or passes depending on my matchup and 1-3-1 zones as I am able to find gaps and create open shots on the from all over the floor giving me the highest possible chance of scoring. I have continued my improvements and game by playing AAU for Next Level Training out of Marble Falls, TX. Currently, the most realistic goal for me is to play any division college that would allow me to make the biggest difference in their program on and off the court.  I feel like I would be a recruitable athlete for your program as I am discipline oriented and very coachable. In all, I love the game of basketball and would very much like to continue my career in the great sport through your great school.
