Hello and thank you for viewing my profile and taking the time to get to know a little more about me.
I fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of 5. I began playing basketball because I had no interest in playing football, baseball or soccer. My dad was a collegiate football player at Texas Tech and was understandably a little bummed that I didn't enjoy football, but ultimately was happy I had found my passion on the court. He has helped me stay focused throughout my whole life on and off the court and along with my mother continually support and pushes me no matter what I do, as long as I give 100%.
Through basketball I have learned that teamwork and communication is key when trying to do any task in life. In addition it has helped me find and develop lifelong friends and relationships that I wouldn't trade that for anything. It has given me opportunities and experiences I would have not otherwise had which is why I give it all to the game.
Throughout high school I have maintained a GPA above 4.0 and currently have a 4.18. This ranks me number 57 out of 521 in my 2020 graduating class. I understand that being on my game academically opens up my choices for college and allows me the opportunity to go where I want to go in college. It is my goal to keep this GPA throughout college and graduate with honors.
As an athlete I will do whatever it takes to win. I am a team player and love unselfish basketball. I am very coachable and will always do my best to do as I am told and lead by example. I love seeing my teammates succeed and enjoy picking them up when they are down. I believe that two of the greatest skills I possess are providing a spark energy when needed and intense effort when on the court or the bench.
Thank you again for taking the time to get to know a little bit more about me and I hope that we have the opportunity to connect sometime in the near future.
Sincerely,
Camden Grant
