Education has always been an important thing in our family. My parents and my brother are all college graduates so, I not only feel like I must continue what has been started, but I want to go to college and also become a college graduate. I am currently enrolled in the Manor Early College program and upon high school graduation, I will have also obtained my Associate degree from Austin Community College. I take my education extremely serious and felt taking this path in high school would help prepare me for the future college experience. Taking college courses in high school has required me to learn how to manage my time. The classes require a great amount of studying and basketball also requires a great amount of dedication. I am not afraid of hard work and I dedicate a lot of time to get better at my craft. I call it my craft, because basketball is a part of me and I want to be the best that I can be at it. Team work is very important to me and I consider myself a great team member. I am always willing to do what's necessary to help out the team. I work hard to be a leader and a role model. I am usually the first one in the gym to get extra work in and stay after to work on my shooting. I dedicate all my extra time to working out with my trainer to enhance my basketball skill set.
