My name is Andrew Clopton. I am prepared and excited to attend college and play basketball during the 2018-2019 season and graduate in 2022. I graduated from Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas with the Class of 2018. Currently, I have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and I am a firm believer in being an accomplished student first, and athlete second. Although I struggle with standardized tests, I achieved a 960 on the SAT and a 16 on the ACT. I was a 2 year member of Texas Elite-Herb Adidas Gauntlet 17U AAU basketball team where I averaged 20 ppg and was a dominant defensive player. I feel that my athletic accomplishments are a result of ongoing instruction from my high school and AAU coaches, strong support from my family, endless hours of practice, and learning control of my mental game. Being a leader on and off the court leads me to believe that I can definitely be an asset to your team.
