Caleb Kwi '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college basketball while also going to a four-year university where I can major in engineering. I have played football, baseball, and basketball from 1st grade all the way up to my freshmen year, but ultimately decided to focus on basketball for the remainder of high school. Throughout my 3 years of varsity basketball, I have earned honorable mention all-district 5A division 2, 1st team all-district 4A division 1, 1st team All-Area, and led my team to the playoffs for 2 seasons. Although I can play efficiently on both sides of the court, I believe that I am prominently known as an offensive threat. My composure on the court has led me to have a lethal jump shot, scoring consistently around 40% from beyond the arch during all 3 seasons. My most pronounced characteristic is my ability to overcome failure/adversity. I am someone who strives to succeed in all activities, holding accomplishments in basketball, band, and athletics. I am ranked 12/254 students with a 4.0 GPA, while also having a power score of 1340 on the SAT. I am a part of NHS, 3x academic all-district, and have been selected as student of the month. I know that I can succeed on the court, off the court, and in the classroom at whatever university accepts me.
