Andre Griffin '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Andre Griffin.  I feel like what makes me a good candidate  for your team is that I can play any position. I may have a small frame, but I'm not afraid to guard guys that are bigger than me. Secondly, my IQ is reflected both on and off the court. By that I mean, I make smart decisions on and off the court.  Whether I'm in school, hanging with my friends, or in a game.  What makes me different from other people is that I really do not like being compared to anybody else. I am a born leader and I want to create my own path. Which means I want to be known as Andre Griffin.  What also makes me different is I'm not  a social type of person, I go in and handle my business; keeping socialism to a minimum. My #1 goal for college is to make it to the NBA. I also plan to obtain a degree from college, just in case plan A does not work. In addition, I just want to become a better person than I was the day before. In the summer of 2020 I tore my ACL, but I have not let that stop me from pursing my dreams. I practice 4-6 days out of the week and I work out in the gym 2-3 days out of the week. The hard-work and dedication that I have put in since my surgery has reassured me that nothing in this world can stop me from my destiny.
