I was born in Grapevine, Texas and have been furthering my education in the Carroll Independent School District, Southlake since kindergarten. I’ve played on 18 different basketball teams since I was five years old, which has allowed me to see a lot of different playing and coaching styles. Most, if not all my coaches will describe me as “very coach-able,” because of my drive to constantly improve my game.
I have been blessed to learn from three former NBA players, Jermaine O’Neal, Mo Williams, and Ruben Nembhard. Each has instilled in me the concept of achievement through dedication and hard work. I am currently learning from Shawn Ward, who has extensive experience with club, grassroots, AAU, European, collegiate, and advanced training basketball programs. I am also learning from David Markley, who has extensive experience with varsity, collegiate, advanced training, and psychological preparedness programs.
I can score from anywhere at any given time and can create my own shot. However, my main focus coming into games is to get my teammates involved. I can break down defenders with my dribbling and open up scoring opportunities for others. I also take pride in going 100% on the defensive end and by always getting in the passing lanes on fast breaks. I would be a strong contributor on any team and would quickly learn my role in making the team successful.
After the 2021- 2022 varsity season, I was named 4-6A "Newcomer of the Year", First Team All-District, and Team Defensive MVP. I also earned Academic All-District honors for maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my course of study. During the 2022-2023 varsity season, I was named MVP of the 2022 Bulldog Invitational Tournament in Magnolia, Texas. I was also selected for the All-tournament Team of the 2022 Cedar Hill Tournament. After the season, I was voted on as Second Team All-District 4-6A, Academic All-District, and 2022-2023 Team MVP.
