I am a big guard and an all-around athlete that can shoot, pass, rebound, boxout, make the right plays, and I keep my team first. I could average more points, or I could focus on defense. But I prefer to do as much as I can to help our team in any way. I often guard the other team's tallest player, and when the need arises, I guard the other team's bigger guard. This year, I was named 1st team All-District and was named to a Christmas Holiday tournament all-tournament team. Both were tough challenges because I played in many different needs. I am often placed into several plans so I can not focus on one area or position. Each game it seemed like my role was difference because of who we played.
Over the last few years I have grown over 6 inches. I had severe Osgood-Schlatter's disease (growing pains) during hat time so this has been my initial breakout year. My knee doctor looked at my x-ray and said I should grow to 6'5" or 6'6". With my expected height and outside shooting ability, I think this would be a great asset to any team.
My academics are getting better each year at Logos Prep. It is a college prep high school where the focus is research and studying. Our classes are setup in a college format so the transition to college will be very easy.
My dad played college basketball at Chicago State (under Doc Sadler at Southern Miss) where he was the school's first 4-year letterman/D1 player. He was 6'5" and also played the shooting guard and small forward.
Thank you and please let me know if there is anything I can do to be of further interest.
