Evan Tijerina '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Evan Tijerina I’m a point guard at 6'0ft.  I have been a starter on varsity team ,freshman sophomore year ,and junior year, and have been selected 1st team all-district all 3 years in TAPPS 2A and district MVP, I have Also been selected 1st team all state TAPPS 2a , TABC All state team and 2nd team all area. I’m looking at colleges both for sports and academics, and  a good overall fit for me. I can handle the ball really well, move it around, pass it, and score. I do a good job at controlling the pace and setting up the team for success at the coach's direction . I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it to the next level, if it’s DIII, DII, DI , or NAIA. I’m willing to take my talents to a place that fits me and a place that I can help them. I am a hard worker on and off the court and I don't complain.  I adjust to the culture fast and work well with my coach to accomplish success for the team.
