My athletic career began at a very young age with participation in football, basketball, and baseball. Playing these sports in my youth fostered a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie as well as a fierce competitiveness. These traits coupled with my natural athleticism helped me develop into a complete basketball player; one who is able to handle the ball efficiently, score at the basket and from range, pass very effectively, guard against several positions, and most of all one who is deeply knowledgeable about the game. With said skills, I have been able to flourish at the highest of stages while maintaining a high academic standard at Westlake Academy, an International Baccalaureate school. I have been admitted into the National Junior Honor Society as well as to its senior counterpart the National Honor Society and currently have a 94% grade average. My scholastic pursuits have also developed a passion for writing that I plan to pursue in college along with playing basketball.
