Lily Hansen '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a very driven student in the classroom as well as athlete on the court/field. My high school, Westlake Academy, is a public-charter school with a very rigorous International Baccalaureate and college preparatory program which I have been attending since kindergarten. My organization and time management skills are prominent throughout my academics, many athletics, and community service. I like doing things correctly and efficiently. I am headstrong with the goals I set for myself and am always looking to become better; even after my high school running and learning career is over. I am a natural leader in both sports and academics as I have been captain of both Westlake's varsity cross country and track since I was a freshman, and attended the selective International Student Leadership Symposium in South Africa my sophomore year (spring of 2019).  I am all for the sporting/team atmosphere as I consistently help out with the Junior High running teams, manage boys JV/Varsity basketball and co-ed varsity soccer, plan powderpuff, as well as take yearbook photos for variety of Westlake's sports teams.
